Washington/San Francisco, 14 May 2013 – Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic called on American companies today at an investment conference in San Francisco to invest in Serbia. Dacic stated that Serbia is open to investors and that it is a politically stable country dedicated to obtaining EU membership and strengthening its economy. He underlined that the companies willing to invest in IT industry will get special incentives. Speaking at the conference, the Serbian Prime Minister addressed prospective investors from the West Coast of the United States, mostly IT companies, and highlighted all political and economic advantages of investing in Serbia. The conference, organised by the American Chamber of Commerce, was also attended by representatives of companies that already invest in Serbia. They presented their experiences on what they encountered in Serbia and what should be done next.
