Belgrade, 23 Oct 2013 – Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said today at a meeting with representatives of the IBM that the Serbian government is trying to rationalise and modernise its public administration and to reduce its costs, which is why the state attaches great importance to the introduction of new information technologies.
 
 
Dacic said that the government is committed to cooperation with the world's largest IT companies, which are expected to help rationalise the public administration affairs.

He said that the IBM helped develop analyses to improve productivity and reduce costs of the public administration.

The help of the IBM, which cooperates with a number of European governments, is of great importance for the introduction of e-business in the ministries and other parts of the state apparatus in Serbia, the Serbian Prime Minister said.
