Addressing the audience, PM Vucic stated that Serbia has three main objectives, and these are internal and regional stability, the creation of a strong economy and an open, democratic society.

The Prime Minister stressed that Serbia is a pillar of stability in the region and outlined the details of foreign policy activities in the past year, starting from the visit of the Albanian Prime Minister to Serbia after almost 70 years, through his visits to Sarajevo and Zagreb and his first historical visit to Albania last week.

He underlined that Serbia has good relations with all countries in the region and reiterated the importance of dialogue with Pristina, which has greatly contributed to the stability of the entire region.

The Serbian Prime Minister also mentioned the economic measures, fiscal consolidation measures, new laws and legal reforms as serious conditions to ensure political and economic stability of Serbia.

"The Balkans remain a sensitive region, but I hope that we will manage to preserve stability. Forecasts for Serbia are not bad, but the biggest challenge for us is to preserve the political stability of the region. To do this, we expect political support of the European Union", Vucic concluded.
