The House of Jevrem Grujic from Belgrade prepared an online theatre performance titled “Two Women One War” with Serbian actresses Marija Bergam and Vjera Mujovic in leading roles.

This performance is about friendship between two nations, the Serbian and the American, during the Great War, in the most horrific moments of our history, as reflected in the intertwined fates of two women, who spent years striving, promoting and representing Serbia, serving the country in such a diplomatic mission throughout the world.

One of these two women was American, Mabel Dunlop Grujić, who married Serbian diplomat Slavko Grujić, and the other was Serbian, Jelena Lozanić, who later married John Frothingham, the greatest American benefactor of the Serbian people. Both of these women had two homelands – Serbia and the U.S.

The performance is with English subtitles, and the tickets can be purchased here.
