First Counsellors at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Washington Jovana Nedić and Radomir Ilić attended the ceremonial unveiling of the bust of Novak Djoković in the Serbian Cultural Garden in Cleveland, Ohio.

Made at the initiative of Alex Machaskee, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia, and the Tesla Science Foundation, this is the first bust of an athlete in a garden where busts of famous Serbian scientists, painters, writers and rulers have been featured since 2008.

A work of the sculptor Bojan Mikulić, this is the twelfth bust in this magnificent garden. On the same day, Milana Mim Bižić and Alex Machaskee received awards and medals from the Tesla Science Foundation for their contribution to preserving the Serbian community in the United States.
