The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Washington received Gordana Petković Laković, author, journalist and theatre actress who is credited with the idea of creating a literary playroom for children aged 4 to 12.

Through an interactive and dynamic one-hour game, Ms Petković Laković presented Serbian culture, tradition, alphabet and great figures of its history to the children.

Her mission is to visit, by the end of the year, 16 more US cities with organised Serbian communities, in order to promote her poetry and prose books for children and adults.
