The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Washington, Marko Đurić, visited Clemson University in South Carolina, where he gave a lecture to the students of political sciences.

Ambassador Đurić first introduced to the students Serbia's basic foreign policy priorities and efforts to develop regional cooperation through the Open Balkans initiative, and he also referred to current challenges in complex circumstances on the international level.

In a pleasant conversation with the Vice-Chancellor of Clemson University and the management of the Department of Political Sciences, both sides expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation and partnership between Clemson University and the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, which has been established in 2006. The possibilities for further improvement of the program were discussed, as well as exchange of students and researchers.
